Iranian and Iraqi Leaders Discuss Gaza Conflict and Syrian Developments.

Baghdad: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani engaged in discussions on Sunday regarding the ongoing war in Gaza and recent developments in Syria. Al-Sudani received a phone call from Pezeshkian, as stated by the media office of the Iraqi prime minister.

According to Anadolu Agency, the conversation between the two leaders focused on regional developments, particularly the situation in Syria and Palestine. The discussion highlighted the continuous conflict and actions by Zionist occupation forces against civilians and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. Both leaders stressed the need for regional collaboration to halt the war in Gaza and prevent further deterioration in Syria.

The Arab region is currently experiencing significant events that have captured international interest. This includes the ongoing conflict in Gaza, security concerns in Lebanon due to Israeli cease-fire violations, and a military operation by Syrian opposition factions against Bashar al-As
sad’s regime. These factions have gained control over Idlib province and significant portions of Aleppo province.
