Inter Milan secured a narrow win over Porto in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round 16 on Wednesday.
Neither team was able to produce a goal in the first half at Stadio San Siro.
Porto were down to 10 men after Otavio received a second yellow card for a foul on Hakan Calhanoglu in the 78th minute.
In the 86th minute, Romelu Lukaku netted a close-range finish to give the Italian club the lead, and the match ended 1-0 in favor of the Nerazzurri.

Manchester City were meanwhile held to a 1-1 draw with RB Leipzig at Leipzig's RB Arena.
Riyad Mahrez broke the deadlock for the English club while Josko Gvardiol leveled the score with a header for the German club in the 70th minute.
The second leg for both matches will take place on March 14.
