Industrial production in Cyprus rose by an annual 5% in November driven upwards by gains in all sectors, the Statistical Service of Cyprus (Cystat) has said.
According to data published by Cystat the Index in November reached 138.5 units (base 2015=100), recording an increase of 4.8% compared to November 2022.
For the period January – November 2023, the index recorded an increase of 2.5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
The manufacturing sector registered an increase of 3.2% compared to November 2022, whereas the sector of water supply and materials recovery jumped by 30.6%. Electricity supply rose by 7.8% and mining and quarrying by 6.0%, Cystat added.
