The Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, Harris Georgiades, will travel to Belgium on Sunday, 14 January, to participate in a meeting of the Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of Parliaments of the European Union (COSAC), to be held in Namur.
A press release issued by the House of Representatives said that the meeting will take place on January 14 and 15, as part of the parliamentary dimension of the current Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
As noted, the meeting will include discussions on procedural issues, the priorities of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the European Pillar of Social Rights and EU enlargement.
