Gaza Death Toll Tops 50,600 as Israeli Army Kills 60 More Palestinians

Gaza: Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip killed at least 60 more Palestinians, bringing the death toll in its genocidal war since October 2023 to 50,669, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.

According to Anadolu Agency, a ministry statement indicated that another 162 wounded were transferred to hospitals in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of injured to 115,225. The statement further noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble and on the roads, as rescuers struggle to reach them.

The conflict escalated as Israel resumed its attacks in Gaza on March 18, breaking a two-month truce. The ongoing violence follows a series of legal actions against Israeli officials. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. In addition, Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice concerning its actions in the enclave.
