Gaza Death Toll Climbs as Israeli Attacks Persist.

Gaza: At least 33 more Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, bringing the overall death toll since last year to 44,282, the Health Ministry in the enclave said on Wednesday. A ministry statement added that some 104,880 others were injured in the ongoing assault.

According to Anadolu Agency, the ministry reported that Israeli forces killed 33 people and injured 134 others in three massacres of families in the last 24 hours. The statement highlighted that many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them.

The Israeli army has continued its operations in the Gaza Strip since a Hamas attack last year, despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire. The international community has increasingly recognized the situation in Gaza, with organizations and leaders labeling the events as a deliberate attempt to destroy a population.

Last week, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Isr
aeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its actions in Gaza.
