FMs of Cyprus and Saudi Arabia agree on urgent need for de-esclation in Middle East

Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos held a telephone conversation on Wednesday with his counterpart from Saudi Arabia during which he discussed regional developments in the Middle East.

Kombos and Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud agreed on the urgent need for restraint and de-escalation, and for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, a post from the Foreign Ministry on ‘X’ says.

Steps to further bolster the strong Cyprus – Saudi Arabia bilateral relations, as well as the EU – Saudi Arabia ties were also discussed.
