Foreign Affairs Minister Constantinos Kombos departs for Vienna on Tuesday, where he will attend the official opening of the Cyprus Presidency of the Forum for Security Co-operation (FSC) of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
According to a Foreign Affairs Ministry press release, during the period January – April 2024 Cyprus will chair the Forum, which, together with the OSCE Permanent Council, are the two autonomous decision-making bodies of the Organisation.
It adds that Kombos will participate in the opening session of the Forum’s plenary to be held on Wednesday, while he will also have separate meetings with OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid and OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Teresa Ribeiro.
