Finance Minister Makis Keravnos exchanged views on bilateral relations between Cyprus and Greece and ways to further strengthen them with the Minister of Interior of Greece, Niki Kerameus, who is visiting Cyprus, on Friday.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance, during their meeting held at the Ministry in Nicosia, the two Ministers referred to the excellent relations between the two countries and the need for their continued strengthening for mutual benefit.
For her part, Kerameus provided an update on initiatives and reforms implemented by the Greek Government, especially in areas such as public administration.
The Minister of Finance congratulated the Greek Interior Minister on the reforms implemented by the Greek Government, as well as on the “remarkable performance of the Greek economy in general.”
It is added that Keravnos gave an overview of the state of the Cypriot economy, as well as the main reforms that the Government plans to implement, including the tax reform.
