European stocks closed higher Tuesday except for the IBEX 35 in Spain.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was up 2.54 points, or 0.55%, to close at 463.27.
The UK's FTSE 100 increased 24 points, or 0.32%, to finish the session at 7,594, while France's CAC 40 gained 40 points, or 0.56%, to 7,290.
Germany's DAX was the best performer of the day by soaring 132 points, or 0.83%, to 16,230.
Italy's FTSE MIB added 155 points, or 0.57%, to hit 27,566 by the closing bell.
Spain's IBEX 35, on the other hand, fell 10 points, or 0.11%, to 9,333.
