European stock exchanges closed with gains on Thursday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up 2.89 point, or 0.68%, to 430.35.
Germany’s DAX 30 added 146 points, or 1.05%, to end the session at 14,071. France’s CAC 40 rose almost 63 points, or 0.97%, to finish at 6,573.
Italy’s FTSE MIB was the best performer of the day, adding 286 points, or 1.2%, to 24,056.
Spain’s IBEX 35 increased 59 point, or 0.72%, to close at 8,318.
