European stock exchanges closed Thursday with losses.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was down 1.28 points, or 0.27%, at 468.78.
The UK’s FTSE 100 decreased 1.66 points, or 0.02%, to end the session at 7,513. Germany’s DAX 30 lost 27 points, or 0.16%, to nearly 16,629.
France’s CAC 40, meanwhile, shed seven points, or 0.1%, to finish the fourth trading day of the week at 7,428.
Italy’s FTSE MIB declined 204 points, or 0.67%, to end the day at 30,121.
Spain’s IBEX 35 was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 112 points, or 1.09%, to 10,146.
