Deschamps extends his contract as head coach of France until 2026

France national team manager Didier Deschamps inked a contract extension through 2026, French Football Federation (FFF) confirmed on Saturday.

“Appointed on July 9, 2012 by Noel Le Graet, Didier Deschamps has an exceptional record at the head of the national team with 89 wins, 28 draws and 22 losses in 139 matches, 279 goals scored and 119 conceded,” FFF said in a statement.

The federation added that assistant coach Guy Stephan, goalkeeping coach Franck Raviot, and physical trainer Cyril Moine will also continue their mission in the national team.

Deschamps guided Les Bleus to win the 2018 World Cup title and the 2021 UEFA Nations League trophy.

The 54-year-old head coach also helped them reach the finals of the 2022 World Cup and the EURO 2016.
