Deputy Commander of the French Naval Force in the Mediterranean, Rear Admiral Vincent Gregoire visited the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) on Tuesday where he was briefed on the role which the JRCC plays.
A post on the Centre’s website notes that in the context of his presence in Cyprus, the Deputy Commander of the French Naval Force in the Mediterranean, Rear Admiral Vincent Gregoire, visited the premises of the JRCC where he was briefed by the Commander and the Staff of the JRCC on the way the Centre is organised and operated, as well as the role it can play, in the event of humanitarian operations, in the wider region of the Eastern Mediterranean.
During the visit, it added, emphasis was placed on the excellent cooperation of the Center with the French Navy.
