Bitci MXGP of Turkey in the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship took off on Saturday in western Turkey as contestants raced in the EMX Open category.
In the opening race of the EMX Open category in the province of Afyonkarahisar, Italian Davide De Bortoli was the winner with a time of 30:29.774, ahead of fellow Italian Simone Croci, who finished the race in 30:32.962.
Nicolas Dercourt from France finished third in the race, which took place at the Afyonkarahisar Motor Sports Center, with a time of 30:34.506.
De Bortoli took control of the second race from the beginning with 30:25.528 to seal a comfortable victory as he won the EMX Open in Turkey with 50 points in a total.
Having collected 204 points in the standings, De Bortoli is now closer to sealing the 2021 EMX Open title with two races remaining.
Croci completed the EMX Open in Turkey in the second spot with 42 points, despite coming third with a time of 30:28.774 in the second race.
Polish rider Tomasz Wysocki was in the second spot in the second race after putting in a time of 30:26.439. He finished the day in third with 40 points.
Dercourt, who finished the first race in third, did not compete in race two.
