Cyprus will host one of the two meetings this year of the Consortium of European Building Control (CEBC), which is organised by the Ministry of Interior.
The meeting will take place in Peyia, in Paphos district, between 13-15 of October.
A press release by the Ministry of Interior says that the conference will focus on developments in the field of building control. The new licensing procedures implemented by Cyprus will be presented, as part of the effort to modernise and simplify development licensing.
“The organisation by the Cypriot Ministry of Interior of the Consortium meeting is an important recognition of the role of our country in the field of building control,” the Ministry says.
Concluding, it notes that the exchange of views and information on existing and new policies is essential for the Authorities of Cyprus in the continuous effort to improve of practices applied at the national level, primarily for the benefit of serving citizens, growth and ultimately the county’s economy.
