Cyprus – UAE FMs discuss bilateral ties and regional developments

Foreign Minister Dr. Constantinos Kombos has held a meeting with his counterpart of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, focusing on bilateral relations and regional developments.

According to an official press release, Kombos paid a working visit to Abu Dhabi on 4-5 of June. During their consultations, the two Ministers reviewed their bilateral relations as well as ways to further promote them in matters of strategic interest. They also held an in-depth discussion on regional developments and exchanged views about the continued coordination between the two countries on issues of mutual interest, including the EU-UAE relations.

The press release says that the Minister also held a meeting with Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Senior Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the UAE, during which they exchanged views about the cooperation between the two countries at the bilateral and multilateral level aiming to address geopolitical challenges and exploit regional opportunities.
