Foreign Minister, Constantinos Kombos, had a meeting Thursday in Yerevan with his Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan, during which they confirmed the strong ties between Cyprus and Armenia, the Foreign Ministry said in a post on ‘X’.
The Ministry referred to ‘substantive discussions’ between Kombos and Mirzoyan, ‘confirming the strong ties between Cyprus and Armenia’.
Earlier, Kombos, who is in Armenia on an official visit, said in another post on ‘X’ that it was ‘a pleasure’ to meet with the Interparliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus.
He referred to a ‘comprehensive exchange of views’ on further enhancing bilateral ties.
On Wednesday, Kombos was received by Armenia’s President, Vahagn Khachaturyan.
