The national team of Cyprus was defeated with 3-0 by Kosovo at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium in Pristina for Match Day 4 of the Nations League.
Kosovo achieved victory with the goals of Amir Rahmani in the 30th minute, Ermal Krasniki in the 52nd minute and Emir Sahiti in the 70th minute of the match
“All effort made by the footballers was incredible”, coach of the team Sofronis Avgousti said in his statements after the game, noting that he is disappointed from the result but satisfied by the effort of his players.
In the other game of the group, Romania achieved a great victory away, over Lithuania, with 2-1.
The next match for the National Team is on November 15th against Lithuania in Cyprus and it concludes its obligations in the Nations League on November 18th against Romania.
Standings: Romania 12, Kosovo 9, Cyprus 3, Lithuania 0.
