Protesters used sticks and rocks as weapons and also threw them at police officers. They also set fire to vehicles. At least 52 people and three police officers were injured, the same source said, adding that hundreds of people were arrested. The festival organized since the 1990s has been criticized in recent years for allegedly supporting the Eritrean government, according to Aftonbladet.
