China should use its influence to try to achieve a just peace in Ukraine, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani told his opposite number Wang Yi in Beijing on Monday, the Italian minister said on X.
"With Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi we discussed how to address in a collaborative way the present international scenarios with particular regard to stability and development in Europe," said the centre-right Forza Italia (FI) leader, who is also deputy premier.
"On Ukraine, I encouraged (them) to use China's influence in favour of a just peace". (ANSA).
