Cyprus central government debt amounted to pound 23.829 bln on June 30 2023, according to data published at the website of the Public Debt Management Office on Friday. The amount increased by pound 700 mln in the second quarter, compared to the previous quarter.
Out of the total, pound 825.8 mln are total domestic securities, of which pound 74.4 mln are treasury bills, pound 395.2 mln are domestic bonds and pound 356.3 mln are retail/special retail bonds and saving certificates. Also, pound 14.45 bln are total foreign securities.
Total loans are pound 8.55 bln, of which pound 8.3 bln are foreign loans and pound 250 mln are domestic loans.
