ANKARA: At least seven people were killed when a fire broke out in a building in the city of Xinyu in east China’s Jiangxi province on Wednesday, Beijing-based Xinhua News reported.
Firefighters arrived on the spot soon after the incident and started operation to extinguish the flames.
This is the second fire incident in the country in less than a week, involving casualties.
On Jan. 20, at least 13 people were killed when a fire broke out in a school dormitory in the central Henan province of China.
