American Kyle Hines led Milan to the win with 13 points, 10 rebounds and three assists at O.A.C.A. Olympic Indoor Hall in Athens.
Serbian guard Nemanja Nedovic led Panathinaikos with 19 points in the losing effort.
AX Armani Exchange Milan held on to the third spot in the standings with a 17 – 8 record, following only Spanish powerhouses Barcelona and Real Madrid, respectively.
At 7-18, Panathinaikos is 16th in the league.
Olympiacos Piraeus beat Bayern Munich 98-88 at the Audi Dome in Munich in the other Round 28 game.
