Armenian MPs to visit Cyprus 1-4 of May

A delegation of the Armenia-Cyprus Interparliamentary Cooperation Committee of the Armenian National Assembly will pay an official visit to Cyprus, 1-4 of May at the invitation of the Cyprus House of Representatives.

According to a press release from the House of Representatives, the delegation, headed by Chairman of the Armenia-Cyprus Interparliamentary Cooperation Committee Hayk Konjoryan, and MPs Vladimir Vardanyan, Rustam Bakoyan, Hayk Tsirunyan, Karen Hambardzumyan and Arusyak Manavazyan, will be received by President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, Archbishop of Cyprus Georgios and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Annita Demetriou.

In addition, they will hold separate meetings with Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign and European Affairs and Chairman of the Cyprus-Armenia Interparliamentary Cooperation Committee, Harris Georgiades and Members of the Committee, Minister of Defence, Michalis Giorgallas and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador, Kyriakos Kouros.

The Armenian MPs will also hold meetings with the Mayors of Nicosia and Paphos, with Deputy Mayor of Famagusta, and members of the respective Municipal Councils.
