Turkish basketball club Anadolu Efes on Saturday said their player Bryant Dunston was involved in a car accident. In a brief statement on Twitter, the club said the American center was in good health and wished him a speedy recovery. Anadolu Efes sporting director Alper Yilmaz tweeted a photo of Dunston in the hospital, saying he is 'in good health' and 'will be kept under observation at the hospital today.' Local media, meanwhile, said the 36-year-old crashed his car into a truck in Istanbul, and suffered minor injuries only. Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Trkiye Sigorta Basketball Super Lig, Barcelona and Bayern Munich conveyed their best wishes to the injured player. Dunston, who joined Anadolu Efes from Olympiacos in 2015, won two EuroLeague championships (2021, 2022) and two Turkish League titles (2019, 2021) with the Istanbul side.
