Kabul- 93rd establishment anniversary of Republic of Turkey was marked in a ceremony in the country's consulate in Mazar-e-Sharif.
In the ceremony held yesterday on this occasion in Balkh province and was attended by state accountant Mohammad Ishaq Sarwari and acting governor of Balkh, leading body, generals, government officials, representatives of political and social organizations to Mazar-e-Sharif and Turkish consular to Mazar-e-Sharif read out message of the Turkish President Recep Tayyep Erdogan .In his message, the Turkish President said, "On 29th of October or 93 years ago, the Republic of Turkey was founded by Mustafa Kamal Ataturk. After increasing challenges and problems, Turkey was successfully growing and could rapidly find its position among the top countries of the world and today we have achieved further successes in various social, political, economic and cultural sectors". In the message, the Turkish President pointed on relations between the two countries and said that the relations of Turkey with Afghanistan was historic the foundation of which had been laid by King Amanullah Khan and Mustafa Kamal Ataturk. Afterwards, acting governor of Balkh while congratulating the establishment day of Turkey to the Turkish President, participants and the Turkish nation said friendship and relations between Afghanistan and Turkey and among the people of the two countries would continue in various economic, political, cultural and social fields as before. He added that cooperation of Turkey with the people and Afghanistan particularly in Balkh in education, health, training, culture and economic sectors and presence of Turkish soldiers in the framework of RS in Afghanistan was considered as a proof of such friendship between the two countries.
