‫CATL تطلق بطارية “Qilin” بتقنية CTP 3.0 (خلية إلى حزمة) التي تحقق أعلى مستوى تكامل في العالم

Introducing translated & multi-language captions
Launching first in Zoom One Business Plus and Zoom One Enterprise Plus packages, Zoom’s translated captions will allow users to view captions translated into the language of their choice. At launch, translations will be available between English and 10 additional languages, or from any of the 10 languages to English. The ability to translate directly to and from English is known as bi-directional translation. Translated captions display at the base of the screen while in a Zoom Meeting.

The bi-directional translations are available in the following languages: Chinese (Simplified), Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Ukrainian.

To access the translated captions feature, Zoom One customers must upgrade to either the Zoom One Business Plus or Zoom One Enterprise Plus packages (in applicable countries).

Zoom also extended its automated captioning – the ability to caption in real-time what a speaker is saying in the same language as the one spoken – to include 10 additional languages. Automated captions previously were supported in English, but now can be displayed in the additional 10 languages referenced above. وحث شي الدول المتقدمة الرئيسية على تبني سياسات اقتصادية مسؤولة و”تجنب تداعيات السياسات السلبية التي قد تلحق خسائر فادحة بالدول النامية”.

وقال شي: “إن تسييس الاقتصاد العالمي وتحويله إلى أداة أو سلاح، وفرض عقوبات عمدًا باستخدام الموقع القوي لدولة ما في الأنظمة المالية والنقدية الدولية لن يؤدي إلا إلى الإضرار بمصالحه ومصالح الآخرين، وإلحاق المعاناة بالجميع “.

التزام الصين بالانفتاح

ودعا شي إلى الالتزام بالشمولية والانفتاح والتكامل، مؤكدا على أن العولمة الاقتصادية هي “اتجاه تاريخي لا يمكن وقفه”.

وقال للجمهور “ستواصل الصين متابعة الانفتاح على معايير أعلى، وتطوير أنظمة جديدة لاقتصاد مفتوح بمستوى أعلى، وستستمر في تعزيز بيئة أعمال دولية قائمة على السوق والقانون”.

كما ألقى كل من رئيس جنوب إفريقيا سيريل رامافوزا والرئيس البرازيلي جايير بولسونارو والرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين ورئيس الوزراء الهندي ناريندرا مودي كلمة في حفل افتتاح المنتدى، الذي عُقد عبر منصة الإنترنت زائد في بكين.  وحضر ما يقرب من ألف من وزراء الاقتصاد والتجارة والمبعوثين للصين وممثلين عن مجتمع الأعمال.

تمثل مساحة الدول الخمس لمجموعة البريكس أكثر من 26 بالمئة من مساحة اليابسة في العالم، ويشكل إجمالي عدد سكانها 42 بالمئة من سكان العالم، كما يمثل ناتجها المحلي الإجمالي حوالي ربع الناتج المحلي الإجمالي العالمي.

Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, June 25

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,099.98 Turkish liras at 11.00 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

The lowest rate is determined as 1,750.01 liras at 07.00 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the figures showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday’s electricity market showed an decrease of 5.5% to 1.25 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,311.16 liras and 2,326.71 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 2,749.99 liras at 01.00 a.m. local time (2200 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,750.01 liras at 01.00 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the figures showed.

US$1 equals 17.37 liras at 1131 GMT on Friday.

UK annual retail sales volume falls 4.7% in May

ANKARA (AA) – The UK’s retail sales volume annually fell 4.7% in May, compared to the same month of last year, according to data released Friday by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

While the market estimate was a 4.5% decline, retail sales volume annually decreased 4.9% in April.

On a monthly basis, the volume of retail sales fell 0.5% in May from the previous month.

The market expectation was a monthly decrease of 0.7% for May, while the April figure was revised down to a monthly increase of 0.4% from a rise of 1.4%.

Despite the decline, retail sales volumes were still 2.6% above their pre-coronavirus levels of February 2020, the ONS said.

“In the three months to May 2022, sales volumes fell by 1.3% when compared with the previous three months; this continues the downward trend since summer 2021,” it said in a statement.

“The fall in sales volumes over the month was because of food stores, which fell by 1.6%; reduced spending in food stores seems to be linked to the impact of rising food prices and the cost of living,” it added.

Oil prices fluctuate during w/e June 24, amid supply and demand uncertainty

Oil prices increased on Friday during very volatile market trading during the week ending June 24 on supply worries and amid supply and demand uncertainty.

Brent crude was trading at $111.93 per barrel at 1216 GMT on Friday, posting a 1.71% loss from the Monday session that opened at $113.88 a barrel.

American benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) registered at $106.22 per barrel at the same time on Friday, decreasing 2.52% relative to the opening price of $108.97 a barrel on Monday.

Oil prices started the week on Monday clawing back some of the previous week’s losses on supply fears motivated by Libya’s announcement of a dramatic drop in oil output.

The upward price movement continued on Tuesday and oil prices edged higher due to supply concerns amid ongoing tension between Russia and Ukraine and the unfolding sanctions on Russian fossil fuels, with EU countries now seeking alternative energy sources.

However, fears of a global recession dampened the upward trajectory.

Brent crude regressed to a low of $107.03 a barrel on Wednesday when global markets weighed the possibility of a federal holiday on fuel tax by the US Administration amid the backdrop of global economic recession concerns. Meanwhile, WTI crude also lost gains and plummeted to $101.58 per barrel on Wednesday after surging to $112.47 per barrel the previous day.

Oil prices continued their descent on Thursday amid concerns that a possible recession could lower fuel demand.
