At least 20 suspects were arrested Thursday for their links to the PKK terrorist group in operations in several provinces across Turkey.
In the eastern Kars province, police arrested three PKK suspects who were accused of spreading terrorist propaganda on social media.
Fifteen other PKK suspects were also arrested in the eastern Van province.
Two suspects were also arrested in the southern Adana province in coordination with provincial police and the National Intelligence Organization (MIT).
The suspects were said to be planning terrorist attacks.
Considered a terrorist organization by Turkey, the EU, and the U.S, the PKK has killed thousands of civilians and security personnel since 1984, including over 1,200 in the last two years alone.
