16 Children Among 46 Palestinians Killed in Israeli Attacks in Gaza.

GAZA CITY: At least 46 Palestinians, including 16 children, were killed in fresh Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to medical sources. Israeli warplanes bombed an inhabited home in Jabalia, the largest of Gaza’s refugee camps, resulting in the deaths of at least 36 individuals, including 15 children. The attack left dozens injured and several others missing.

According to Anadolu Agency, a medical source had earlier reported a death toll of 32, including 13 children. Witnesses described the destruction of a multi-story building that housed residents and displaced families, with many people still trapped under the debris.

In another tragic incident, five more people were killed in an Israeli strike on a house in Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood. A separate attack in the Jabalia refugee camp claimed another life. Medics reported three additional fatalities and multiple injuries following an Israeli airstrike in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

A child was killed, and his par
ents were injured when an Israeli drone targeted them in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza City. The Israeli military has maintained a deadly campaign in northern Gaza since October 5, claiming it aims to prevent Hamas from regrouping amid a siege on the area.

Palestinians, however, accuse Israel of attempting to occupy the region and forcibly displace its residents. Since the onset of this offensive, no humanitarian aid, such as food, medicine, and fuel, has been allowed by the Israeli army into the area, pushing the population to the brink of starvation.

Israel’s ongoing offensive on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has resulted in over 43,600 deaths and left the enclave nearly uninhabitable. The country faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in the blockaded enclave.
