Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky called for “concrete” support from the NATO alliance on Monday during a phone call wit the UK’s premier.
Zelensky said on Twitter that during his call with Prime Minister Boris Johnson, he stressed the importance of clear membership prospects for Ukraine in the alliance.
He said that Ukraine was carrying out reforms under external aggression from Russia, adding: “It is time for NATO to back Ukraine by concrete decisions.”
Defense cooperation between Ukraine and the UK was also discussed during the call, Zelensky said.
