The trade volume of Turkey’s spot natural gas market increased by 32.3% to 6.1 million Turkish liras on Wednesday, Turkey’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Thursday.
Total trade on Tuesday amounted to 4.61 million liras.
On Wednesday’s spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 2,173 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to 2.81 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 148.38 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 8.36 Turkish liras at 1112 GMT on Thursday.
