Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, July 28

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey’s day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 617 Turkish liras between 09.00 and 22.00 local times (0600 and 1900 GMT) while the lowest will be 369.11 liras at 07.00 local time (0400 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 0.10% to 339.33 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 555.21 liras and 558.88 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday is 617 liras between 08.00 and 23.00 local times (0500 and 2000 GMT) and the lowest at 368.37 liras at 06.00 local time (0300 GMT).

US$1 equals 8.57 Turkish liras at 1110 GMT on Tuesday.
