Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, July 29

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 617 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 24.00 local times (0500 and 2100 GMT) while the lowest will be 371.05 liras at 06.00 local time (0300 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.

Turkey’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 0.40% to 337.96 million liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 560.35 liras and 562.79 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday is 617 liras between 09.00 and 22.00 local times (0600 and 1900 GMT) and the lowest at 369.11 liras at 07.00 local time (0400 GMT).
