The electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey’s day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 636 Turkish liras for the whole day, according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 8.63% to 287.77 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are each calculated as 636 liras.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday is set as 636 liras between 00.00 and 04.00 local times (2100-0100 GMT) and between 07.00 and 23.00 local times (0400 and 2000 GMT) with the lowest at 595.56 liras at 06.00 local time (0300 GMT).
US$1 equals 8.53 Turkish liras at 1133 GMT on Thursday.
