Nets’ big three show firepower, beat Celtics to have 3-1 lead in series

The Brooklyn Nets showed firepower on Sunday evening, beating Boston Celtics 141-126 to take a 3-1 series lead in the NBA’s Eastern Conference first round playoff series.

Nets’ big three, Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving combined for 104 points, shot 33/56 from the floor, including 11/20 from the three-point line.

The Nets lead the game as many as 27 points against the home team Celtics, who were playing without their three starters, Jaylen Brown, Kemba Walker and Robert Williams due to injuries.

Jaylen Brown is out for the season.

For the Celtics, Jayson Tatum scored 40 points, Marcus Smart scored 16 points and dished out 9 assists in the loss.
