AC Milan on Saturday confirmed the inking of Olivier Giroud on a permanent transfer from Chelsea FC.
Touting their new recruit, the Italian football club said in a statement: “In the summer of 2012, he moved to Arsenal, with whom he scored 105 goals in 253 games, winning 3 FA Cups and 3 Community Shields.”
“In January 2018, Giroud moved to Chelsea FC, with whom he scored 39 goals in 119 appearances, winning one Champions League, one Europa League, and 1 FA Cup,” it added.
After debuting with the French national team in 2011, Giroud netted 46 goals in 110 appearances and in 2018 helped the team win the World Cup.
The 34-year-old will be wearing the number 9 jersey.
