ISTANBUL (AA) – The first round of the 2021 NBA playoffs will tip off on Saturday.
Memphis Grizzlies claimed the eighth and final playoff place with a 117-112 win over Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference on Friday.
The Grizzlies’ Ja Morant was the highest scorer of his team with 35 points, six rebounds, and six assists at Chase Center.
Canadian guard Dillon Brooks scored 14 points as Grayson Allen came off the bench to add 12 points.
For the losing side, Stephen Curry produced 39 points, while Draymond Green performed triple-double.
American center Green scored 11 points, 10 assists, and 16 rebounds.
The Grizzlies and the Washington Wizards became the last two teams to advance to the playoff.
